Head Girl

Hi, I'm the new head girl for 2016 at Freehold Community Primary Academy. I am 11 years old and I live in Oldham with my family of three.

The things I love about Freehold are;

  • the smart uniform
  • the attutudes to learning
  • how the children respect others
  • teachers and the way they develop our learning
  • inspiring assemblies
  • how attractive the academy is
  • how children deal with bad behaviour
  • the resources and equipment that the academy provides
  • the multicultural ethos
  • academy trips
  • visitors who come to help us

Things I would like to see developed;

  • more resources
  • residential trips
  • more ICT, DT and Art lessons
  • new snacks in the tuck shop area
  • more indoor and outdoor clubs before and after school
  • more opportunities for children to learn outside

My aspirations

"In the future I would really like to be a doctor or an archaeologist because I've always liked finding things around the classroom since my early years in Reception. I use my Freehold Five all the time and I know that these skills will help me succeed throughout my life. I have used these skills and passed them down to my entire family and I hope they succeed with all the amazing opportunties available to them when they are older. My favourite hobbies are drawing, sketching and painting. In school, my favourite subjects are Art, Maths and English."
